A new roof-tile underlay for slated and tiled pitched roofs has been launched by Icopal. With an innovative two-ply construction, Sartec Protect combines the strength and absorption properties of non-woven spun bond polypropylene with the excellent waterproofing qualities of low density Polyethylene film. Sartec Protect is lightweight, has excellent tear and puncture resistance and is easy to handle and install. Its absorbent underside means it does not sweat when used in conjunction with roof ventilation.
