Hambleside
Danelaw has launched its new GRP Dry Fix Valley
Trough product. It is a mortarless system that
requires no specialist tools to install and
is suitable for ‘warm’ or ‘cold’ roof construction.
The product has been specifically designed
by Hambleside Danelaw to provide an improved
method of weatherproofing pitched valley details.
Constructed from time proven GRP (Glass Reinforced
Polyester), the product has thermal stability,
flexibility and performs well. Hambleside Danelaw’s
Sales Director, Chris Dalgarno comments “It
is much quicker to install and can be done in
up to half the time needed to install conventional
sloping roof valley systems. This is due to
its dry fix capability where no mortar is required
to bed the roofing tiles, so work is not held
up by the weather.” |

The mortar-less formula also eliminates ongoing problems
associated with mortar bedding such as cracking, blocked
channels and susceptibility to frost damage. The Dry
Fix Valley Trough is suited for pitched roofing systems
in both
new build and refurbishment work and leaves a neat
finish. Chris Dalgarno goes on to say, “This system
also meets the demands of customers for whom aesthetics
are important because it has a close cut and discreet
finish, with no open valley”. Ask your local branch
manager for more information.
