NEW WOODGRAIN OPTIONS FOR PREMIER’S PROCELL RANGE

The highly successful partnership between SIG Roofing and the leading extruder of PVCu window, door and cellular foam product, Premier Profiles, which has flourished this year across a number of regional depots, looks set to continue in 2004, particularly with the recent addition of Premier’s laminated roofline products.

Premier’s turnover with SIG is significantly up on last year’s figures, as more and more depots have started stocking and promoting its wide selection of roofline, cladding and ancillary items. The continued popularity of laminated products is reflected in Premier’s most recent developments.

Procell Mega Board, for example, which provides extra strength and rigidity for all roofline applications and saves time and money by eliminating the need for treated backing board, is now available in a new Black Ash laminate foil alongside existing Woodgrain and Sherwood Oak options, as is the 9mm thick Soffit/Utility Board for use in the refurbishment sector.

Recognising the importance of being able to offer a complete system in coloured options, external and internal corners, square joint trims and fascia joint trims are also all now available in Black Ash, Woodgrain and Sherwood Oak.

As part of the marketing support materials available to builders and fabricators working with the woodgrain Procell, Premier Profiles has produced a pocket guide on ‘Installation Recommendations for Coloured or Laminated Products’. The guide outlines the specific tolerances required when fitting coloured or surface coated roofline products, with additional notes for fitting cladding systems.

This level of support and advice, reinforced by ongoing product development, has maintained Procell’s growing popularity with stockists and fitters alike, as is typified by its relationship with SIG.
