Welcome from John Chivers, Managing Director

For many of us within the roofing industry, 2003 was a year of mixed fortunes. Market demand was generally no worse than what we experienced in the prior year, but, the burden of insurance, operating costs and legislation compliance undoubtedly took their toll.

Given the above we are, as an organisation, fully committed to achieving efficiencies for, in the first instance our customers, but also for our supplier partners. Quite simply, the supply chain must work and we know that we must provide value to that chain.

During 2004, we will continue to invest in:

• A wider range of stocks

• Improved delivery capability

• More modern ‘Roof Shop Facilities'

• Better information provision

• Extension to our branch network.

The Roofing Industry is our lifeline – we are totally focused on this market sector and will seek every opportunity to provide value and quality to all our customers.
