Marley Waterproofing‘s new roof waterproofing system, Life Cycle Membrane System 20 (LCMS20 TM) is completely cold applied and comes with a 20-year guarantee.
The result is a long lasting system that retains a traditional bituminous build up with a mineral finish. LCMS20 TM is suitable for both cold and warm roof applications and the system’s 20-year guarantee covers design, materials and workmanship.
Health & safety risks are at a minimum when installing the system as there is no requirement for bitumen boilers or gas torches and the time spent on the roof is reduced with the provision of pre-formed details. There is also a reduced impact on the environment as there are not the fumes and carbon dioxide emissions associated with hot works. The system includes Traffik-AbleTM, an extremely robust cold applied Vapour Control Layer (VCL) which has an aluminium core that can withstand normal construction foot traffic. Traffik-AbleTM can be used over the entire roof area for temporary weatherproofing protection.
In addition Marley Waterproofing has added a recovery underlayer, suitable for refurbishment projects. It has been especially designed for applications where an overlay system is required.
