Cast iron rainwater systems are heavy and expensive, but for a period style property they are hard to beat for durability and good looks – until now.

FloPlast Limited has become well-known as a manufacturer of PVC-U rainwater goods, as well as drainage systems. With a reputation for quality for their contemporary styled systems they have now extended their range. Their two new Cast Iron effect Rainwater systems combine the classic good looks of cast iron, with the easy installation and lower costs of PVC-U

The ranges, in Half Round and Niagara (Ogee) styles have been developed to give the full Cast Iron effect, making them suitable for any period style or listed property. From the ground, they are said to be virtually indistinguishable from genuine cast iron, with external fixing lugs on shoes and sockets. But while the look may be retro, the technology is right up to date with secure slot together assembly, and integral seals. A range of connectors are available to allow linking to existing systems.

The systems are fully Kitemarked, and have a 10 Year "Cast Iron Colour Guarantee".
With gutter lengths of up to 4mm and up to 2.5mm downpipes, the systems can provide a solution not just for domestic refurbs and newbuilds, but for larger projects such as churches.
